For my cards today I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit) the very talented Terri Gaines and you can find her post with a video and PDF at createwithterrigaines.com. Terri used the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper that was a free Sale-A-Bration item and my first card is also made using that pretty paper.
When you visit Terri’s blog you will notice that my “selective edit” for this card is the dry embossed background using the Cane Weave Embossing Folder.
This card design has sooo many possibilities! Change the cardstock color, designer series paper, embossing folder, sentiments…I had a hard time stopping! My Card Ministry Ladies said it was one of easiest and prettiest cards we have made in over a year! WOW! What was really fun was being able to get 10 cards out of one sheet of 12″ X 12″ designer series paper!!!
Do you want to see a few of the other cards I made with this design? Of course you do!
They don’t even look like the same card, do they? These are made with the Ready to Ride 12″ X 12″ Designer Series Paper which has a motorcycle theme. I also used this designer series paper on my Legendary Ride Accordion Fold Card post. The card on the left uses Basic Black cardstock, Basic Gray cardstock and is embossed with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder…it has a real tuxedo look to it; classy! The card on the right uses Basic Black cardstock, Soft Suede cardstock and the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiments on all the cards are cut out using the Double Oval Punch.
Good so far? Are you still with me? Of course I saved the best (my favorite anyway) for last!
Be still my beating heart! I love how this one turned out. The black and gray roses designer series paper is actually the flip side of the brown one above…WHAT?!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! Yes, I am! So, I decided to make a girlie card. I love pink and gray together so combined Blushing Bride cardstock with the Basic Gray cardstock and still used the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder. I think it’s a total winner! What do you think?
I hope you enjoyed seeing what can be done when you CASE the Designer! You can also copy designs in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog the same way and get fabulous results!
Thank you for stopping by today! I love sharing my creations with you.
