Tiptoe Through the Tulips

Stampin’ Up! recently released the new January-June Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure and I am smitten! My favorite stamp set/die bundle is Tulip Fields…the tulips, the Dutch windmill in two sizes…oh my! Then if you add the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper, it is a winner for sure!

My first card with this set is an easel fold with that amazing windmill die cut! This fold is super simple. Cut your card base 4 1/4” x 11”; score at 5 1/2” and 2 3/4”…Boom! You have an easel card. The sentiment on the bottom is raised on Stampin’ Dimensionals to act as a stop to create the easel.

When I closed the card, the windmill was against a white background…boring! So I decided to decorate with a Balmy Blue sky and cloud die cuts from the bundle.

The Brushed Brass Butterflies really finish off the card!

I am so sorry for the fuzzy pictures. I would have retaken them but the card is already on it’s way to my friend for her birthday!

I make and send a lot of birthday and thank you cards! What kind of cards do you send the most? Just curious!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Windmills are a familiar sight to me.

We have a lot of windmills in our area but they aren’t the Dutch Windmills like on this card. The Dutch Windmills are sooo much more attractive IMO.
