Paper Crafting on the Road #2

I had so much fun crafting in my Hotel room last week while we were visiting in Bellevue WA. Hubby had a conference to attend so I brought along a bag of goodies to keep me busy!

One of my favorite paper crafts when we are staying in a Hotel is a pouch to put the Housekeeping tip in. I try to get these done ahead of time but sometimes that just isn’t possible so then I am at the mercy of whatever supplies I have on hand.

For this Diaper Fold Pouch I used:

  • 6″ x 6″ piece of Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper; Shaded Spruce and Whisper White card stock.
  • Stamped images are from the August, 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
  • The doily is a retired product but Stampin’ Up! has other nice doilies in the current catalog.\
  • The “jewels” are some I had in my stash.

The doily tag is the focal point of this adorable and functional pouch.

And of course the best part is when I add a few dollars and give to the person who is cleaning my room for the day! These also work great for leaving a tip for a restaurant meal or candy as a treat for a friend or coworker. Ghirardelli chocolate squares work perfect!

If you have children at home who are traveling with you, let them help you make the Diaper Fold Pouch and let them experience the joy of giving!

Thank you so much for visiting today! Have a great day!
