Shortly after Stampin’ Up! released the Beautiful You stamp set, I bought it! There are sooo many brilliant ideas on Pinterest and Instagram using this stamp set. However, I took the Beautiful You stamp set on one of my visits to my daughter’s and it didn’t come home with me…surprise! She uses it ALL THE TIME! Her favorite is to pair it with the Sheltering Tree stamp set. I will have to make one to show you.
When I visited my daughter after Christmas I decided to stamp a bit and chose to “visit” the Beautiful You stamp set to give it a little love. On Pinterest I found a card uploaded by Karen McAleese…don’t know if she made it or just uploaded from another site but whoever designed this card, bravo! It’s gorgeous!!!
Am I right??? I decided this would be my niece’s 40th birthday card. Now I am a month late and the card won’t go out till Friday…grrr! See, Mindy, I did make you one; just have to get it in the mail!
This is a bigger than normal handmade card (usual is 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″) and will fit in a business size envelope…barely! And check out the design on the back layer. It’s made by stamping the ladies randomly in black and white around the edges.
I colored the ladies with the oh so amazing Stampin’ Blends! I hate to color because I’m not very good at it but the Stampin’ Blends make me feel like an artist!
The sentiments in the stamp set are wonderful for all the lovely ladies in your life! My favorite image is this girl dancing in the rain!
So my dear Mindy Sue, this card will wing it’s way to you soon with many wishes for an amazing year!
Thank you for visiting today and for being patient me! Have a great day!
