Floral Phrases DIY Designer Series Paper

As I mentioned in Tuesday’s post HERE, I want to show you how I made my own Designer Series Paper! You can do this with just about any stamp set and sometimes it’s just fun to stamp a whole 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of Whisper White or Very Vanilla Cardstock and then cut it to make several cards. That technique is called One Sheet Wonder but that will be another post! However, for Tuesday’s card I just used a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White and stamped with the floral image from the Floral Phrases stamp set.

I started by stamping the images around the edges of the cardstock as my focal image would cover up the center.

This is what it looked like when I finished stamping the image in Berry Blast. Do you notice the images that didn’t get quit enough ink in the upper and lower left? Not to worry as again, the focal image will cover that up.

And the finished card…

This is a great technique to use when you find a card on Pinterest (or my blog) that you want to make but don’t have the Designer Series Paper used in the original card. Just grab a stamp set that has some great images and create your own!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!
