My project today came from an idea formed on my blog post here. This is not an original idea as paper crafters have been doing One Sheet Wonders for years but the design using the Daisy Delight stamp set is mine. Check out this close up!
The Daisy Delight stamp set is amazing and you can purchase it with the Daisy Punch for 10% off the bundle! I plan to use the Daisy Punch for some of the cards I create with my One Sheet Wonder!
To begin this project I chose a sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ Whisper White cardstock, the stamp set and the colors I wanted to use. I will list all the ingredients at the bottom of this post.
I ended up photographing this one going the wrong way but you get the idea! I started by stamping the largest image several times in different colors all over the page.
There! Now we are back in the same direction! As you can see, I went crazy with the images trying to get the color I wanted and fill in the space. The Daisy on the bottom left was an add-on near the end because I ended up with a blank corner. I got ink a a few places where I didn’t want it and thought about starting over but decided to stamp images over them instead and it worked! Tada! No redo!
This technique can be used with almost any stamp set. Just choose your cardstock, stamp set (s) and ink colors…then have fun! This would be a great activity for kids!
Tomorrow I will show you how I cut this sheet of paper to make several cards! How many??? I’m not sure yet but more than 4; possibly 8 or 10! Wish me luck!
RECIPE:
- Whisper White cardstock 8 1/2″ x 11″ although size really doesn’t matter.
- Daisy Delight Stamp Set
- 2017-2018 In Colors Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads: Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig and Powder Pink
Have a great day!
I love this!! But then again Daisies are my favorite!!
So glad you like it! Wait till you see the cards I made from it! It was a fun little project.
