I have been away from blogging for awhile and am trying to slide back in so this post is just short and sweet! Sooo, here goes…
Have you ever been working away at your craft table and all of a sudden you look around and you have a horrendous mess and about 6 square inches of space to work in? Well, this is all too common for me!
Recently I was making cards with my daughter and we had created such a huge mess on her very large dining room table when I decided it was time to clean up a bit and as I was cleaning up I found bits that I thought would make a great card…so cleanup forgotten, I looked for a card base and other fun bits to make this card…
I started with the strip of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper…a little goes a long ways with this beautiful paper! Then I had scraps of leaves and a tiny scrap of Rose Glimmer Paper that was perfect for the bow diecut. I used Fresh Fig and Powder Pink card stock with Whisper White card stock for the sentiment. The Hold on to Hope stamp set had the perfect sentiments for this card and I finished off with the beautiful Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. I had cut a thin strip of the designer series paper off to make the one on the front the size I wanted so carried the beautiful paper over to the inside. Another sprig of leaves only in Fresh Fig this time and Voila! A gorgeous card to send to a friend! Do you think she liked it?
On my craft desk at home I have a plastic container where I put diecuts and strips of pretty paper that don’t make it onto the card I am working on. Then there are days when I dig through my container to see what I can use to launch a creative project! Do you do the same?
Thanks for visiting today! I can’t wait to share another fun project with you soon!
