I recently saw a card on Pinterest using the Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy Punch and knew I had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit) it! Then I realized it was created by the very talented at http://stampinbj.com . I had so much fun making it that now I want to make a hundred of them in different colors, with different backgrounds! OK, maybe not a hundred, but LOTS! I think these flowers would be gorgeous on some embossed backgrounds!
BJ stamped the woodgrain background on her card but I chose to use the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper! I chose to put the oh so beautiful Faceted Gems in the centers of my daisies rather than a stamped image. The stamped image would make this card easier to mail but I loved the sparkle! I chose to stamp my sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock and punch out with the Tailored Label Punch instead of heat embossing the sentiment. That’s the fun of CASEing cards is that you start with their idea and then change it up to fit your style and preferences!
And of course, no card is complete without the inside! I had stamped a Daisy on Pineapple Punch cardstock thinking I might use it on the front instead of the Grapefruit Grove one so decided to glue it to the inside to gussy it up! I decided NOT to put a sentiment on the inside so I could write a longer note instead. What do you think?!!!
Recipe for this card…
Cardstock: Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Berry Burst, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White with Wood Textures Designer Series Paper
Stamp Sets: Daisy Delight and Petal Palette
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Other: Daisy Punch, Tailored Tag Punch, Faceted Gems
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my project! Next time I want to share a fun way to break through Crafter’s Block…like Writer’s Block only applies to crafting:)
