Christmas Pines for Christmas in July

I am sure you are thinking that I dropped off the face of the internet! Just a little explanation…I have Fibromyalgia and occasionally (thankfully not often) I have a flare-up that keeps me from doing business as usual! Not fun:( But, thankfully, I am back and will try to fit a couple of extra posts in next week to make up for the ones I missed. I want you to have lots of fun inspiration for your Holiday cards!

Are you starting to think about Christmas? As Crafters we need to start early because all of our projects take time and energy to produce. Our card today is using a personal favorite stamp set of mine called Christmas Pines with the coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits. I saw a card done by Mary Deatheridge on Pinterest and was planning to copy it but when I got started I made some fun changes as so often happens. We call this CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit). Thanks Mary for the great idea!

I started by embossing a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Cable Knit 3-D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder…now THAT is a mouthful!!! Then I used the Sheet Music background stamp to stamp the notes on Very Vanilla cardstock.

I made a little corsage of sorts with the pinecones, boughs and mistletoe and was overjoyed with how that turned out! Just that little bit of Gold Glimmer Paper really added some pizzazz! I really like the added touch the Stitched Shapes Framelits give to a project! LOVE THEM!

No card is complete without the inside…

Check out that adorable pinecone in the corner with a cutout bow from the Pretty Pines Thinlits! Can you see why I love this set! So, now for the Supply List so you can make your own Christmas Pines card. Remember all of the supplies used to make this card are available in my Online Store.
