I love to craft with paper…make cards, treat pouches, tags, bookmarks, etc! However, as with most of you, I don’t always get to spend the time I want on crafting because, let’s face it, dishes need done; laundry…is there no end; pets need cared for; food needs cooked and the list goes on and on. Occasionally my husband has to go out of town to a conference, training or whatever and invites me to go along. I pack up a bag of “goodies” to take with me so I can craft in the hotel room while he works! i remember packing bags to keep the kids entertained; now I am the one to be entertained!!!
One medium sized tote bag is all I brought this time because my alone time will only be one day. I always bring my paper trimmer, paper snips and cardstock. Some Glimmer Paper and ribbon are helpful to glitz up a project!
A Paper Pumpkin Kit (in this case two) that I haven’t had a chance to put together. When you receive a Paper Pumpkin Kit for the very first time, you will receive a Clear Block that is an appropriate size to use with the current and all future kits. I always slip mine in the current box so I am ready to go! The Paper Pumpkin Kits have EVERYTHING you need to put the projects together except scissors! Check out my post about Paper Pumpkin !
Every Paper Pumpkin Kit comes with a little Stampin’ Spot so I save all these for traveling. Although now that we have the Stamparatus they come in handy for that as well! I have two boxes of Stampin’ Spots but only brought one box for this trip!
And this time I brought two punches that I thought would get a lot of mileage on this trip:) *Pun intended*
In my next post I will show you some of the projects I make while I am having a little “ME” time!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!
