My Church asked me to make three Thank You cards for everyone to sign and send. I usually make my cards 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ but decided these would work better in a 5″ x 7″ format. I knew I wanted to use Stampin’ Up!’s Country Livin’ stamp set for one of the cards and was thrilled when I saw a video that Dawn Griffith at Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts made that was kinda what I was thinking of. Thank you Dawn for a great layout!
I love how I was able to stamp just a portion of each stamp on the squares! I colored the images with my Prismacolor colored pencils but the images could be colored with markers or watercolored with Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Pencils which are amazing!
Check out how manly the Silver Foil Sheet looks embossed with the Hexagon Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder! Talk about WOW factor!
Yes! Yes! I know! I need a little practice coloring, blending and shading! However, look how cute the images look in spite of my poor coloring! I totally LOVE this Country Livin’ stamp set! The images look good whether you color them or not!
This is a picture of all three Thank You cards together. More on those in another post! I am patting myself on the back because I remembered to take pictures before the cards went out the door!
Thank you for stopping by today so I could share my Country Livin’ Thank You card with you!
Great job, Kathy!
